5. Fatigue

Everyone feels tired occasionally, but cancer-related fatigue is different. It is persistent, severe, and doesn’t improve with rest or sleep. This type of fatigue can be debilitating and interfere with your daily life.
Fatigue in lung cancer patients is often caused by the body’s response to the disease, as well as the cancer’s impact on oxygen levels and energy metabolism. If you find yourself feeling excessively tired even after a full night’s sleep, it’s worth discussing with your doctor.
