9. Shoulder Pain

While shoulder pain is typically associated with injuries, arthritis, or overuse, it can sometimes be a symptom of lung cancer. Tumors in the upper lobes of the lungs may press on nerves that connect to the shoulder, causing unexplained pain in this area.
Shoulder pain related to lung cancer often occurs without an obvious injury or strain and may worsen at night or when lying down. If you experience persistent shoulder pain without a clear cause, consider discussing it with your healthcare provider.
